Großspannendes Schwimmbaddach in Neu-Kairo

Introduction: In New Cairo, we constructed a massive swimming pool roof for a hall featuring an extremely wide span. This steel construction project used welded beams to create a slender yet highly load-bearing structure.

Challenges: The considerable span required precise structural analysis to ensure the roof could handle not only its own weight but also wind and potential live loads. Moreover, the entire assembly was scheduled to be finished in just three months, demanding effective prefabrication and a skilled installation team.

Solution: By employing large welded beams and an optimized design approach, we completed the hall construction on time. Each component was precisely fabricated in advance and then quickly assembled on site with the aid of cranes.

Result: The pool roof provides a bright, open hall environment and reliably withstands long-term loads. The owner benefits from a visually appealing and functional enclosure that enhances the overall hall experience.
